We are temporarily pausing our 12-hour nail sanitation classes until the current situation works its way out. We have had a criminal, multi-state organization trying to infiltrate our school on and off for about two years now by having known criminals, people with multiple aliases, people using fraudulent means to gain entrance and to pass our online entrance exam, people using fake IDs, etc. applying to our program/programs. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary situation may cause. Due to a possible federal investigation, two state investigations, and a possible IRS investigation into this criminal organization we are not going to enroll any new nail sanitation students until January 1st, 2025 to prevent any additional risk to the individual/individuals who may be working within this organization and/or the authorities. We will be raising this program's price starting January 2025. The new price will be $350. The procedure for signing up for this class will also change. Anyone interested in this class will need to call 907-276-4110 and answer a few questions to ensure that your English is good enough to pass the exam at the end of the class and to email their ID before signing up for this class.
Not everyone who applies will be accepted.
*You must be at least 18 years old and have a 3-minute phone call with Sue in English to make sure that you will understand the materials & the test.
Criminals, people with multiple aliases, and shady types will not be accepted.
You will be required to provide your LEGAL name, and legitimate state-issued photo ID, and your funding must not be from JTPA, DVR, WorkForce Development, NineStar, or Signet Ring
*This class requires physical attendance at the MetrOasis campus in Anchorage, Alaska even though it is a partially web-based curriculum. All materials and the exam are in English.

Are you looking for a place to take the Alaska 12-Hour Nail Class, also called the Alaska 12-Hour Sanitation & Disinfection Class, so that you can get your manicurist license? You have several choices that vary a lot in character and price. Some classes only happen on certain dates and you take the class with others. Some classes are being taught in salons instead of a legally licensed school which may put your manicurist license at peril at some point in the future. Our 12-hour nail class can happen with a somewhat schedule and you can go at your own pace.
Our program is computerized and broken down by both topic and time. As you progress through the program, you can see exactly where you are in the program and how much is left. Our program is a mix of video and reading and is much less boring than some of the other programs. This class doesn't teach how to do manicures or pedicures, it simply qualifies you to gain your Alaska Manicuring License and covers sanitation and disinfection principles.
